Ray Delgado’s article “Billboard Pranks” of June 4 suggested The Billboard Liberation Front consists of some sort of folk heroes. These people are not cute. They are vandals who deface billboards such as Apple’s current campaign. Lots of hard-working people put a great amount of time, money, thought, planning and energy into creating billboard advertisements. There is nothing funny or amusing in altering or destroying peoples work. Guess who they will sue when they fall off of a billboard?

“I have no illusions about my group having that much influence over anything at all. However, people always find some way to subvert the powers that collectively oversee them. That’s my big hope from humanity. It’s pretty small, but there’s some hope….. Maybe.”
